TIQUILA Programme Mini-Uncrewed Air Systems

The TIQUILA Programme contract, awarded to Lockheed Martin UK on 7 December 2022 for £129,350,000 over 120 months (with options to extend up to 24 months), provides Mini-Uncrewed Air Systems (MUAS) for Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) in packable (up to 8kg) and portable (up to 20kg) configurations to support UK Armed Forces field operations. It includes delivery of over 250 systems—159 rotary-wing Indago 4 and 105 fixed-wing Stalker VXE30 drones—replacing older models like Desert Hawk 3, with modular, upgradeable designs managed by Lockheed Martin as Systems Integrator to adapt to emerging technologies and threats.
