Contractor Logistic Support for REMUS 100 (VSW) and REMUS 600 (RECCE) Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) Systems

The Ministry of Defence, Ships, Maritime Combat Systems (MCS) Team, is procuring contractor logistic support services for REMUS 100 (VSW) and REMUS 600 (RECCE) Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) systems from Hydroid Inc, valued at GBP 3,013,000. These UUVs are compact autonomous underwater vehicles used for tasks such as hydrographic surveys, mine countermeasures, environmental monitoring, and maritime reconnaissance, with the REMUS 100 rated to 100m depth and the REMUS 600 to 600m. This support ensures operational readiness for UK naval maritime combat capabilities in littoral and deep-water environments.
