Quick decision context for procurement relevance and maturity.
FMV intends to procure a framework agreement to meet the Swedish Armed Forces' capability requirements for MCM (Mine Counter Measure) search using a light AUV (Autonomous underwater vehicle). The AUV system will replace the existing system currently used by the Armed Forces for MCM. The system must be handheld and deployable from a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) or workboat without requiring special lifting systems. It should also be easy to use and quick to reconfigure for new missions. The option will include the possibility for price adjustment, which will be evaluated according to standard procedures. The system shall encompass handling and ancillary equipment, and allow for future integration and replacement of older existing underwater vehicle systems once they have reached their technical lifespan. The framework agreement will have a base term of 3 years, with two 2-year extension options (a total of 7 years).
