Portable autonomous underwater vehicle for MCM for FMV

Framework agreement Autonomous underwater vehicle Mine Counter Measure Portable

FMV intends to procure a framework agreement to thereby meet the Swedish Armed Forces' capability needs regarding MCM (Mine Counter Measure) search through a light AUV (Autonomous underwater vehicle). The AUV system shall replace the existing system currently used within the Swedish Armed Forces for MCM. The system shall be handheld and usable from a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) or workboat without the need for special lifting systems, and shall be easy to use and quick to reconfigure for new missions. The possibility of price adjustment will be available in the option and evaluated according to current routine. The system shall include handling and ancillary equipment and provide the possibility for future integration and replace older existing underwater vehicle systems when the existing ones have reached their technical lifespan. The framework agreement shall be valid for 3 years as a base with 2 options for extensions of 2 years (Total 7 years).
