Framework Agreement for the Purchase and Delivery of A-cards (Mifare Contactless Secure Smart Cards)

The A-kaart is the savings and benefits card of the City of Antwerp. Users save points by participating in cultural, sports, and other leisure activities. Saved points can be exchanged for discounts or other benefits. For those who are financially struggling, the A-kaart is also a personal discount card that entitles them to a social rate. Finally, the A-kaart is also used as a library card, as a card with which the underground sorting streets can be operated, and as an access card to unmanned sports halls. Points can be saved at various (unmanned) saving terminals that are placed throughout the territory of the city of Antwerp, both at municipal locations and at partners of the city. The subject of the assignment is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the purchase and delivery of A-kaarten, being cards of the type MIFARE DESFire 4K EV3.
