Drone Capability Coalition - Large FPV UAS

The UK Ministry of Defence is procuring large First Person View (FPV) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) valued at GBP 2,250,000 as part of the Drone Capability Coalition, consisting of up to 15 batches of 20 drones each capable of carrying a 5 kg+ payload, along with ground control stations and auxiliary equipment. These systems will be manufactured within 4 weeks, shipped to Latvia for three-month rigorous evaluation to assess suitability for future contracts and potential large-scale production of up to 500 drones per month. The procurement supports the UK-led Drone Coalition's strategic goal of delivering 1 million FPV drones to Ukraine to enhance its defense against Russian aggression, utilizing joint funding and industry capacities from coalition members.
