In connection with this activity, the contractor shall support the standardisation and dissemination activities carried out by the European Commission and EUSPA on advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) in non-aviation sectors, and shall carry out safety and cost-benefit analyses related to the use of advanced RAIM in these other sectors. The contractor shall also collect real measurements and validate local effect models. New developments of advanced RAIM shall be developed taking into account the combination of the following technologies and services: — multi-sensor fusion, a necessary evolution of GNSS and advanced RAIM, as autonomous transport in most safety-critical sectors depends on local sensors that can mitigate the effects of local errors and hidden signals in harsh environments — EGNOS current and future versions, which will extend GPS and Galileo in the L1 and L5 bands and expand the service area — Galileo's High Accuracy Service (HAS), which will improve positioning performance through the E6-B signal and ground-based means.
