India Archer-NG MALE UAV (DRDO)

Archer-NG is a weaponised medium-altitude long-endurance drone that India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is developing through its Aeronautical Development Establishment for surveillance, target acquisition and precision strike. It is designed to fly up to 30,000 feet and carry about 300 kg of payload, including anti-tank guided missiles and smart anti-airfield weapons. It follows DRDO's Rustom series, including the Tapas-BH-201, which did not fully meet military requirements. The Archer-NG made its maiden flight at the Aeronautical Test Range in Chitradurga in October 2025.
