SCIENTIFIC, TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE OFFICE OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS) AND THE WEATHER PROGRAM OFFICE (WPO)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has awarded a contract valued at USD 5,892,649.41 to Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs, L.L.C. for scientific, technical, and engineering support services to the Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and the Weather Program Office (WPO). These services support NOAA's UAS program in areas such as observational requirements, data gap filling, science, technology, operations, and program management, including historical contributions to UAS for hurricane forecasting. This aligns with NOAA's strategic efforts to advance unmanned systems for environmental data collection, weather prediction, and ocean stewardship, often in collaboration with entities like the U.S. Navy.
