TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF MARINE SOLAR PANELS FOR THE GENERAL LIGHTHOUSE AUTHORITIES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND

The Northern Lighthouse Board, on behalf of the General Lighthouse Authorities of the United Kingdom and Ireland (including Corporation of Trinity House and Commissioners of Irish Lights), has awarded a supply-only contract to Solar Capture Technologies Ltd for marine solar photovoltaic (PV) modules valued at GBP 2,345,200. These solar panels, estimated at 800 units annually for four years, will power marine aids to navigation (AtoN) on remote, unmanned stations, vessels, and buoys in coastal environments. The contract ensures long-term reliable operation in harsh marine conditions as part of a call-off framework under PCR2015.
