First response drone-in-a-box oplossing voor Politiezone Antwerpen

As part of its future vision, the Antwerp Police Zone aims to further expand and optimize its drone operations. An important step in this is the exploration of so-called drone-in-a-box solutions. Automatic drones can be deployed more quickly and efficiently to support operational tasks such as incident response, public order maintenance, police or control actions, investigations, accident mapping, etc. This not only contributes to a faster response time but also increases the deployability of the drone team and improves the information position on the ground. With this, the Antwerp Police Zone aims to evolve towards a 24/7 operation with its own pilots, providing almost complete coverage of automatic drones over its territory. Additionally, the Antwerp Police Zone also wants to facilitate this drone deployment for other police zones within the framework of inter-zonal cooperation. The Antwerp Police Zone wishes to provide an integrated drone-in-a-box (DiaB) solution to support operational activities.
