TIQUILA Programme Mini-Uncrewed Air Systems

Project TIQUILA is a £129.35 million contract awarded to Lockheed Martin UK in December 2022 to deliver over 250 portable and packable mini drones to the UK Armed Forces, replacing existing systems like the Desert Hawk 3. The drones, including the Stalker VXE30 and Indago 4 platforms, provide Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities for field operations and are designed to be modular and upgradeable. The 10-year program has achieved Initial Operating Capability and is on schedule to reach Full Operating Capability by mid-2026, delivering 24 trained and equipped detachments integrated into the ZODIAC system.
