M-LIDS Additional C-UAS Platforms and Spares

The US Army awarded Leonardo DRS a contract to provide additional M-LIDS counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) platforms, including kinetic defeat vehicles and spares, under an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement supporting the Mobile-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System program. M-LIDS enables soldiers to detect, identify, track, and defeat small UAS using electronic warfare and kinetic effectors like the XM914 30mm cannon on a Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform turret. This procurement follows M-LIDS Increment 2's designation as an ACAT III program of record in March 2022, with accelerated deliveries for overseas deployment to protect US and allied forces amid rising drone threats.
