The E-CUAS (European Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems) Programme is a €71 million EU-funded project under the European Defence Fund, led by FN Herstal with 24 beneficiaries from 12 Member States and Norway, aimed at developing integrated counter-unmanned aerial systems (CUAS) solutions to counter Class I UAS, including military-grade drones. It incorporates passive/active sensors, soft/hard kill effectors, command/control, networking, cybersecurity, and interoperability, building on the JEY-CUAS project to harmonize operations and requirements from December 2024 to May 2028.
